The Scottish Darts Association today announced the teams for the forthcoming WDF World Cup.

AMERICAN DARTS ORGANIZATION NATIONAL FINALS 2005

 

The ADO held its national finals for 6 invitations to the Winmau World Masters last Friday. The six players listed below will all be at Bridlington in late October. They will be joined by the National 501 Champions and National Cricket Champions at the Masters.

CENTRAL SCOTLAND OPEN

 

The 2005 Central Scotland Open was played today in Alloa. Top placings were:

 

Mens Singles Final:       Paul Hanvidge (Sco) 3 - Davy Richardson (Eng) 1

Losing Semi-Finalists:      Mike Veitch (Sco) and Davie Hanson (Sco)

 

Womens Singles Final:   Heather Draper (Sco) 3 - Margaret Ferguson (Sco) 1

 

Under 21 Singles Final:  Stephen Bunting (Eng) 3 - Chris Louden (Sco) 1

 

Man of the day was without doubt Davie Hanson. Not only did he get to the Semi-Finals, he also found time to run the tournament as well.

NORWEGIAN SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIPS 2005

 

Mens Singles:
Jacques Langston won a decisive 4-1 final over Stig Jarle Knudsen.
Despite the score, Stig Jarle played well and was on Jacques´ heels all the way. This was Jacques´second Norwegian Singles title.

Ladies Singles:
Karin Nordahl and Hege Løkken matched each other, but Karin never missed a double and won 4-2. Karin was delighted to win her fourth Norwegian Championship.

Both runners-up Hege Løkken and Stig Jarle Knudsen will represent Norway in the British Pentathlon later this year, and Karin Nordahl and Jacques Langston are on the World Cup team.
