NETHERLANDS WIN THE 2ND LORNA CROFT FRIENDSHIP CUP

The second edition of the Lorna Croft Friendship Cup (LCFC) was played this weekend in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The venue was the Maritim Hotel which was the venue, where the idea of this competition was born during the Spring Cup 2005.

The Dutch Ladies dominated this event, after a close result in the Team contest (31:37) our guests powered through the the Double Contest (29:51). After the first day the Dutch Team were leading by 88:60 legs. This made it clear that Germany could not win in the overall ranking. We had hopes of winning the singles contest but Francis and Karin were too strong for Heike and Bianka in thus it was an all Dutch final. Winner of the singles contest was Francis Hoenselaar.
