LAS VEGAS OPEN WINS FOR STACY BROMBERG AND CHRIS WHITE

 

The 29th edition of the Las Vegas Open was played last weekend. The WDF Ranked Category 2 Singles events were won by Stacey Bromberg who beat fellow USA team mate Marilyn Popp in the final. This was a repeat of last years final, and revenge for Stacy. Chris White got the better of Johnny Kuczynski in the Men's final.

SANDRA POLLET AND KIM HUYBRECHTS BELGIAN SINGLES CHAMPIONS 2007

 

The Belgian Singles Championships 2007 were played in Turnhout last Sunday.  None of the events produced any major shocks and the winners were among the favourites in all events.

 

Sandra Pollet, who has hardly played at all since last years Winmau World Masters, had little trouble winning her 4th national title.

 

In the Men's Singles 21 year old Kim Huybrechts, who has definitely been the form player in Belgium over the last few months completed a very successful transition from the junior ranks  by taking the senior title with a narrow tie-break win over defending champion Dirk Hespeels.

 

Daphne Brynaert (girls), Dimitri De Witte (boys) and Dimitri Van Den Bergh (aspirants) were the new youth champions.
