SERVER UPGRADE AND SITE MIGRATION NOW COMPLETED

 

Our website was migrated to is new home a few hours ago. During the transition process all files uploaded to the server between 11th and 27th November were lost. This means that during the last 12 hour period many of you may have been reading outdated ranking tables etc.

 

We have now uploaded all the missing files again and as far as we can see the site is now fully up to date. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

SHAUN GREATBATCH AND CARINA EKBERG WIN THE SWEDISH OPEN SINGLES TITLES

 

England's Shaun Greatbatch won the Men's singles at the Swedish Open with a 4-1 victory over fellow Englishman Dave Prins. In the Semi-Finals Prins whitewashed Ron Meulenkamp 4-0 while Greatbatch defeated the newly crowned Winmau World Master Robert Thornton 4-2. In an all Scandinavian Women's final Sweden's Carina Ekberg edged out Norway's Rachna David 4-3.


MARIO ROBBE AND ANASTASIA DOBROMYSLOVA WIN THE GLENCARN CLASSIC

 

The finals of the Glencarn International Classic was played in Castleblaney, Rep. Ireland today. Dutchman Mario Robbe took the 10,000 Euro first prize with an 8 legs to 4 win over Scotland's Mike Veitch. In the Women's event Russia's Anastasia Dobromyslova went home 3,000 Euros richer after beating England's Trina Gulliver by 6 legs to 2.

THE WINMAU WORLD MASTERS 2007

 

 

The 2007 Winmau World Masters once again provided a tremendous spectacle for the live audience and the terrestrial TV viewers with match after match of high quality darts. Scotland's Robert Thornton sprung a major shock when he produced darts of great consistency and high quality to take out Co Stompé, Martin Adams, and Martin Atkins before ousting England's Darryl Fitton in a memorable final. The win also gives Thornton a ticket to the Lakeside World Professional which will be played in January.

 

Karin Krappen came from behind against "Golden Girl" Trina Gulliver to snatch a well deserved 4 - 2 victory.

 

In the Youth events Kimberley Lewis retained her Girl's title and Shaun Griffiths of England won the Boys event. Full details of all matches can be seen on the links below or in the"Majors" section of the main menu.

MARKO PULS AND KARSTEN KOCH HIT A 9 DARTER

 

Top German players Marko Puls and Karsten Koch hit a nine darter in the final of the German League event played in Marle at the weekend. It was Karsten who started with the first 180 and the 141 finish while Marko supplied the other 180


GARY ANDERSON AND DENISE CASSIDY WIN THE N. IRELAND OPEN SINGLES

 

Scotland's Gary Anderson continued his impressive run of victories when he defeated Darryl Fitton in the final of the 2007 Northern Ireland Open. The Women's event went to local favourite Denise Cassidy who defeated England's Trina Gulliver.

ZUIDERDUIN MASTERS 2007: DRAW ANNOUNCED

 

The draw for the first Zuiderduin Masters was made today. The event will start on the 7th of December 2007 in Egmond aan Zee the Netherlands.

 

The field of 24 includes all the top WDF players and some exciting wild-card players as well.

There will be 8 seeded players, one in each Round Robin group. The winner of each group plays the quarter final, here the result of the draw:

The Play-off draw for the qualifying places for the 2008 Lakeside World Professional Championships was conducted at BDO headquarters today. The draw for all groups can be seen below.

LIVE INTERNET STREAMING FORM THE ZUIDERDUIN MASTERS

 

Dutch media company "DARTS IN MOTION" are to follow up their recent success at the WDF World Cup by providing live streaming from the 2007 Zuiderduin Masters.

 

The Zuiderduin Masters features the cream of the WDF dart players and will be played from 7 - 9 December. More details will be available shortly.
