AUSTRIAN NATIONAL LEAGUE

The Austrian National League, which is the highest ranking darts-league in the country, and has just completed its second full season since its inception in 2006. The POST SV team successfully defended their title in spite of a devastating 11-1 defeat in the last game against runner-up Bad Boys.

1. POST SV  (Carinthia): August Jost, Johann Binder, Rainer Blank, Serif Elezoski, Ursula Binder, Christa Kogler
2. Bad Boys                (Vienna)
3. DC Schwarzatal        (Lower Austria)

The format of the National League is a 4 person team consisting of at least 1 woman where all players have to belong to the same darts-club. In a league match of 8 singles and 4 pairs the line-up is not a tactical choice but  fixed according to the individual player's strength.

For the technically curious the  Austrians we are using an online league system software where all standings and averages can be edited and saved on-line. You can view the system online with the following links
