2023 WDF World Cup - 54 Countries to Compete

Entries have now closed for the return of the WDF World Cup, with 54 nations set to be in action later this year in Denmark.

Taking place at the Granly Hockey Arena in Esbjerg, Denmark from Monday, September 25th to Saturday, September 30th, the tournament is set to the biggest in WDF history.

The countries registered for 2023 are:

Taking place for the first time in four years because of the pandemic, this year's World Cup sees New Zealand, Japan, Wales, Canada and England all looking to defend the Gold medals they won in Romania in 2019.

2023 will mark the second time that the WDF World Cup has taken place in Denmark. The first was all the way back in 1987. That year, Eric Bristow was the star of the show as he led England to a hat-trick of titles.

Monday, September 25th: Opening Ceremony

Tuesday, September 26th - Thursday, September 28th: Floor matches across all competitions

Friday, September 29th: Final floor matches and the first finals

Saturday, September 30th: Remaining tournament finals and Gala Dinner
