Dennis van Onselen is honoured by the NDB

The ‘Nederlandse Darts Bond’ (NDB) has conferred Honorary Membership of the Dutch Darts Association to darts coach Dennis van Onselen in recognition of his services as coach of the Dutch team.

The honour was bestowed upon him during a special diner arranged for him and his wife Yvonne, which was attended by his former Dutch darts colleagues and coaches.

Dennis was thanked on behalf of everyone involved within the Dutch Darts Association by Sijmon Timmers, Chairman of the NDB, and presented with a golden pin to commemorate his services to the NDB and the sport of darts.

His first tournament as NDB coach was the 1998 Spring Cup and his last was the 2013 Six Nations Cup. In the last 15 years he has won every major title with the Dutch team – an achievement which deserves recognition from the whole sport of darts. With his friendly personality, extensive experience and kind nature, Dennis van Onselen is a person who is highly regarded and respected by players and colleagues.

The Dutch Darts Association would like to express its collective gratitude to Dennis for his invaluable services on behalf of Dutch darts.
