It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing yesterday of Stacy Bromberg. Stacy was the most decorated player in United States darting history. Stacy was twice a World Cup Overall Champion, in 1989 and 1993, Pairs Champion in 1993 and Ladies Singles Champion in 2009. Stacy was US#1 16 times, including an incredible 13 consecutive years, North American Open Ladies Singles Champion 6 consecutive years, US National Champion 16 times and 2010 PDC Womens World Champion.
Stacy was also a great ambassador for Womens Darts and one of the most charitable people that you will ever meet. Her work with Make-A-Wish among other charities was legendary.
