The World Darts Federation are pleased to announce that Scotland's Antony Dundas will serve as the Master of Ceremonies for the 2023 Lakeside World Championships. Antony replaces Richard Ashdown who has stepped away from the role for personal reasons.
Antony will be making his ninth appearance at Lakeside and when asked for his favourite refereeing moment was quick to reply: "Apart from the 174's, the 2014 semi-final between Alan Norris and Jan Dekker - fast paced, entertaining and a thrill to referee!"

Nick Rolls will be making the 20 minute trek down the M3 to referee at his 14th Lakeside World Championships. The Englishman remembers Scott Mitchell's 2015 World Championship victory over Martin "Wolfie" Adams as a particular highlight: "The 158 checkout from Scott in the final set was just..... WOW!"
For Dutchman Marco Meijer it's a 10th World Championships and for whom the 2015 semi final between Martin Adams and Glen Durrant was "one of the greatest games ever on that stage!"
Charlie Corstorphine makes a fifth appearance at Lakeside and cites the seven set thriller between Paul Hogan and Glen Durrant in 2017 as his stand out memory: "Three sets and match darts down and Glen not only won the match, but the title!"
Garin Roderick debuted at Lakeside in 2022 and will therefore make his second appearance on the iconic stage in December. When asked for his favourite World Championship moment, the Welshman of course replied: "it has to be the all Welsh final from 2020, Wayne Warren, Jim Williams and me!"
Christian Sørensen will be making his debut at Lakeside in December having come off the back of a whirlwind year which saw him officiate at the 2022 World Masters in Assen and the World Cup in his native Denmark this past September.
