2022 Winmau World Masters Updated Information

With less than a week to go until the Winmau World Masters gets underway, the WDF are pleased to release further information around timings and registration details.

Entries – As a final reminder, players must enter the tournaments they wish to play in on or before Sunday 4 December. No further entries can be accepted after this date. Please use this link to complete your entry https://wdfdarts.avayo.nl/

Registration and Playing Timelines

It is the responsibility of each player to register at the times detailed below for each tournament they have entered. If players do not register, they will not be entered into the draw.

The draw for each tournament will be made once registration for that tournament has closed.

Wednesday 7 December

21:00 – 22:00

Both Men and Women can register to play in the Winmau World Masters at the Registration desk in the Bonte Wever.

Thursday 8 December

09:30 – 10:30

Women can register to play in the Winmau World Masters at the Registration desk in the Bonte Wever.

10.00 – 11.00

ParaDarts players can register to play in the World ParaDarts World Masters at the Registration Desk in the Bonte Wever.

11.00

Play in the Round Robin Groups of the Women’s Winmau World Masters begins and continues until all Round Robin group matches are played.

12.00

Play in the Round Robin Groups of the World ParaDarts World Masters begins and continues until all Round Robin group matches are played.

13:00 – 14.00

Men can register to play in the Winmau World Masters at the Registration desk in the Bonte Wever.

Play in the Round Robin Groups of the Men’s Winmau World Masters will begin directly after Women’s Round Robin matches have finished and will continue until all Round Robin group matches are played.

Friday 9 December

09.30 – 10.30

Boys and Girls can register to play in the WDF Youth World Open at the Registration desk in the Bonte Wever.

NOTE: Youth Players will be asked to show proof of age (passport would be the suggested document), in order that their age can be verified.

Play in the knockout stages of the Women’s Winmau World Masters begins and will play down to and including the quarterfinals.

Play in the knockout stages of the Men’s Winmau World Masters begins and will play down to and including the Last 16.

11:00

Play in the Boys and Girls WDF World Open tournaments begins and will be played through to and including the final.

Play in the World ParaDarts World Masters knockout stages begins and will be played through to and including the quarterfinals.

Saturday 10 December

Boys and Girls can register to play in the Winmau World Masters Youth tournaments at the Registration desk in the Bonte Wever.

NOTE: Youth Players will be asked to show proof of age (passport would be the suggested document), in order that their age can be verified.

Men and Women can register to play in the WDF World Open at the Registration desk in the Bonte Wever.

Play in the Men’s and Women’s WDF World Open tournaments begins and will be played through to and including the final.

Play in the Round Robin Groups of the Boy’s and Girl’s Winmau World Masters begins.

The knockout stages of the Boy’s and Girl’s Winmau World Masters will be played following the conclusion of the Round Robin Group stages and will play down to and including the semi-finals.

Play in the semi-finals of the World ParaDarts World Masters will begin with the final played directly after the conclusion of the semi-finals.

16:00 and 20:00

Relax and watch the Football World Cup quarterfinals.

Sunday 11 December

09.30 – 10.30

Both Boys and Girls can register to play in the WDF World Championship Qualifiers at the Registration desk in the Bonte Wever.

Winmau World Masters – Further Information

Players will only be seeded at the start of each tournament.

Seedings will be taken from the WDF Main Ranking Table as of Wednesday 30 November in line with WDF rules.

The seeding of the World Masters depends on number of registrations:

Eight groups = eight seeded players

Sixteen groups = sixteen seeded players

Thirty-two groups = thirty-two seeded players

Sixty-four groups or more = sixty-four seeded players

The Round Robin groups for the World Masters will consist of 4 or 5 players per group OR depending on the number of entries may consist of 5 or 6 players.

In Groups of 4 or 5 players, all matches from a group will be played on one board

In Groups of 6 players, matches will be played across two boards

Players in each group will be assigned to mark specific matches. It will be each players responsibility to mark or to find a person to mark on their behalf

Should any player not complete all of their Round Robin matches, all of that player’s matches will be removed from the Round Robin Group results table

The top two players from each group will progress to the knockout stages of the tournament.

WDF World Open Seeding

Seedings will be taken from the WDF Main Ranking Table as of Wednesday 30 November in line with WDF rules.

World Championship Qualifier Seeding

There will be no seeding for the World Championship qualifiers.
