Robbie Mills entered the Snoflake Open in Edmonton, Alberta as defending champion and he lived up to the billing that brought as he successfully defended his crown and claimed his first WDF ranked title in the process.

He then started to find more daylight with the finishing line in sight, beating Nelson Bacus 6-4 in the semi-finals before recording a convincing 7-2 final victory over Chad Brook.

Mills family at the double!

Robbie wasn't the only member of the Mills family to taste title glory in Edmonton, with his son RJ claiming his first WDF Youth title earlier in the day in the Boys' event.

Having beaten Las Vegas Classic champion Peyton Hammond 3-2 in a last-leg decider in the semi-finals, Mills then produced a more commanding display in the final to defeat Renaldo Smith 4-1.

Second time lucky for Hammond

Jayda Hammond made up for the heartbreak of losing the Girls' Las Vegas Classic final the weekend before to win the Girls' Snoflake Open.

Here, Hammond beat another member of the Mills clan, Hailey, in the semis before recording a resounding 3-0 victory in the final against Abigail Harty.
