The first finalists at this years Europe Cup have been decided.
In the mens team event Belgium overcame stiff opposition on route to the final as they defeated Scotland, England and then Sweden in the semi finals. They will meet the Netherlands who defeated Norway in their semi final.
In the ladies pairs it will Republic of Ireland against Wales. The Irish won an all Ireland semi final as they beat Northern Ireland 5 – 3. The Welsh won an extremely close match against the English 5 – 4. The finals will be played on Saturday.
The event gets underway again today with the mens pairs, the mens singles and the ladies singles.
