What's new at the TOTO Dutch Open Darts 2023?

The TOTO Dutch Open Darts 2023 promises to be another fantastic event. It’s by far the biggest darts party in the world and you can’t miss it!

The TOTO Dutch Open Darts will largely build on the success of previous editions. There’s plenty of entertainment in the café street of the Bonte Wever and you can have a fun party in the legendary party tent.

The TV lanes will be back for 2023 where you can watch great darts involving many famous players and thanks to DartConnect, all matches played on the TV lanes will be live all over the world!

Of course, we also try to innovate every year at the Dutch Open by looking to make the event and the experience even better for the players and spectators, so what’s new in 2023?

  • We have already announced the great news that RLT7 will broadcast the stage program of the TOTO Dutch Open Darts live on Sunday evening 29 January! Click here for the full news item.
  • The TOTO Dutch Open Darts 2023 starts a day earlier this year on Thursday 26 January, with a warm-up tournament for men and women. Click here for more information.
  • This year we will use DartConnect for more matches including on all matches on the TV lanes. With more than 5,000 participants, it is not yet practical or technically possible to organize the entire TOTO Dutch Open Darts on DartConnect. But we promise that competitions from the women’s, men’s and youth tournaments will be featured on DartConnect in 2023. For more information about DartConnect click here.

Because we are broadcasting a large part of the stage program live on TV in collaboration with RTL 7 on Sunday evening, the schedule for the final day had to be adjusted and we will therefore start the youth tournament on Sunday one hour later, at 11.00 am.

  • The continuation of the men’s singles tournament on Sunday will also start at 11 a.m, but for 2023, we are extending Sunday to cover the last 128 all the way down to the quarterfinals, which will be played on the main stage and live on TV. As in previous years, all men’s matches on Sunday up to the podium will be best of 7 legs.

Click here for the full program per day and for the stage program on Sunday.

If you play in the TOTO Dutch Open Darts, you have free access every day on presentation of your player card – that includes free access on Sunday for the fantastic stage program!

If you are not participating in the TOTO Dutch Open Darts but would like to come and watch the fantastic stage program on Sunday, or you just want to visit the event on Friday or Saturday, YOU CAN! Tickets are available here and are also sold at the door.
