Martin Adams remains on course for his 3rd. successive Masters title as he came through 2 close matches yesterday to win his place in the semi finals.
He was pushed all the way to the deciding leg by Jan Dekker, Netherlands in the last 16 before winning from England teammate Scott Waites 3 -1 in the quarter finals.
He is joined in the semi finals by Martin McCloskey, N. Ireland, second seed Stuart Kellet, England, and Martin Phillips, Wales.
Martin McCloskey first beat Tony O`Shea, another match going to the final leg. He followed that with a 3 – 0 win over Dean Winstanley.
Stuart began his day with a 3 – 1 win over Tony West and then a 3 – 2 win over Ted Hankey.
Martin Phillips beat Englands Garry Thompson in the last 16, 3 – 0 before ending the hopes of Ian Jones in the quarter finals 3 – 1.
Stuart may well be feeling a little left out as MC Martin Fitztmaurice takes the stage today as he introduces Martin Adams, Martin McCloskey and Martin Phillips.
The ladies semi finals line up will be Karin Krappen, Netherlands against Julie Gore, Wales and Frances Hoenselaar, Netherlands, against Lisa Ashton, England.
