Polands Krzysztof Ratajski won the mens singles title in the Latvian Open and Swedens Maud Jansson took the ladies title. Krzysztof beat Peter Sajwani from Sweden 3 sets to nil and Maud beat Polands Karolina Podgorska by 2 sets to nil.

Martin Adams made it three in a row when he beat Englands Stuart Kellet in the final of the 2010 Winamu World Masters in Hull. Having overcome a spirited Martin McCloskey in the semi final 6 – 3, Martin went on to beat Stuart 7 – 3 to retain his title.
