2021 WDF World Masters, plus Lakeside Qualifiers and World Open

The World Darts Federation and Nederlandse Darts Bond are happy to announce further details for the WDF World Masters, staged at the Bonte Wever in Assen from Thursday 2nd December. The new World Open has been introduced to what is sure to be a fiveday festival of darts, with the Lakeside WDF World Championship qualification tournament taking place on Monday 6th December.

With plans firmly in place for the remainder of 2021 leading up to the World Darts Federation's flagship events, we can confirm the full qualification criteria for the Lakeside WDF World Championships, set to be staged on Saturday 1st to Sunday 9th January 2022 at the Lakeside Country Club, Frimley Green, England.

WDF 'Gold' Tournaments Confirmed for 2021

As part of the World Darts Federation's new ranking system, any event awarded 'Gold' status will see their Men's and Women's champions qualify directly for the Lakeside World Championships in January 2022. With seven 'Gold' events scheduled in the lead up to December's WDF World Masters, we look forward to an action packed Autumn in 2021.

TOTO Dutch Open Darts in September is unfortunately cancelled

Due to the increasing number of Covid-19 infections in our country, the government announced new measures on July 9. One of the most important measures is that no multi-day events are allowed until August 13. It will then be assessed whether events will be allowed again afterwards. As a result, there is a lot of uncertainty about the possibilities of organising something after August 13.
