Hutchinson and Menzies latest to seal Lakeside ‘Golden Tickets’ at Welsh Open

Cameron Menzies and Kirsty Hutchinson added their names to the list of automatic qualifiers for the 2022 WDF World Championships after winning the Men’s and Women’s Welsh Open in Prestatyn this past weekend. Thibault Tricole doubled his 2021 title tally in the Men’s Welsh Classic, while Beau Greaves found form to defend her title in the Women’s Classic. Andrew Sinclair recaps the action.

Marsh and Sherrock seal Lakeside ‘Golden Tickets’ at 46th British Open

Organised by Tri-Nations Darts for the very first time, the 46th British Open took place in Bridlington this past weekend and provided the latest chance for two players to secure their ‘Golden Ticket’ for the 2022 WDF World Championships. When all was said and done, it was Scott Marsh and Fallon Sherrock who seized the opportunity to qualify directly for Lakeside. Earlier on, Scotland internationals Jim McEwan and Lorraine Hyde both won their maiden ranking titles in the Silver-graded British Classic. Andrew Sinclair recaps the action.

Tricole and Zijlstra claim Lakeside ‘Golden tickets’ at 2021 Denmark Open

While we weren’t able to run the WDF World Cup in Denmark as planned this year, Esbjerg’s brilliant Blue Water Dokken venue still played host to the Gold-graded Denmark Open and Silver-graded Denmark Masters this past weekend. Saturday’s Open saw two more players, Thibault Tricole and Anca Zijlstra, book their places at Lakeside for the inaugural WDF World Championships in January 2022, while Sunday’s Masters produced a second title of the year for Deta Hedman and a first event win since 2019 for Dutch ace Richard Veenstra. Registration for the TOTO Dutch Open Darts 2022 is open

Registration for the TOTO Dutch Open Darts 2022 is open. This unique darts event will take place from Friday 4th until Sunday 6th of February in the Bonte Wever in Assen. The TOTO Dutch Open Darts is by far the largest darts party in the world, and the only platinum ranked open tournament by the World Darts Federation.
