Discovery UK Add Live Free-To-Air Lakeside Coverage On Quest

Quest joins Eurosport and discovery+ to deliver live free-to-air coverage to UK viewers The World Darts Federation (WDF) welcomes the return of televised darts to the Lakeside Country Club, with Discovery screening comprehensive live coverage across its multi-platform network. Viewers can access the coverage across multiple territories via Eurosport and discovery+*, with UK fans now also able to enjoy live free-to-air action via channel Quest. All afternoon sessions plus all competition finals will be broadcast live, available to view across Freeview (Channel 12), Freesat (Channel 167), Sky (Channel 144) and Virgin TV (Channel 169). Coverage gets underway on Saturday 2nd April and concludes on Sunday 10th April.

TOTO Dutch Open Darts in June will continue

Good news for the TOTO Dutch Open Darts 2022 and other major events. The government has decided to further scale down the corona measures. This means that the so-called 1G policy will disappear, so that testing no longer needs to be done at events with more than 500 participants.

Lakeside WDF World Championships - Fallon Sherrock

Fallon Sherrock has withdrawn from the Lakeside WDF World Championships in April. Priscilla Steenbergen from the Netherlands now comes into the 24-woman field as the highest ranked WDF player at the end of 2021 not already qualified.

Lakeside WDF World Championships - Revised line up confirmed

Following the IOC’s recommendation that no Russian players are permitted to participate in WDF events, four competitors have been withdrawn from the 2022 World Championships field and replaced by Fallon Sherrock, Jo Clements, John Scott and Landon Gardiner.

WDF Calendar 2022 – Six ‘GOLD’ Tournaments Confirmed

As the build-up continues towards the Lakeside World Championship in April, the WDF calendar for 2022 is starting to take shape, with 70 ranked tournaments across 25 member nations already scheduled and in the diary. Alongside the three ‘Platinum’ graded major events at the Lakeside and in the Netherlands, six ‘Gold’ events are confirmed and will take place in the Isle of Man, Scotland, Denmark, Wales, England, and the Republic of Ireland.
