The Philippine Masters and the Philippine International Open of 2010 was held two days in a row with players from Malaysia, Sabah, England, Brunei, Dubai and Sweden. The Philippine Masters was won by 3-time Philippine Open (2006, 2007 & 2008) Champion, 2009 French and Korean Opens and 2010 Malaysian Open Singles
Scotland’s Ross Montgomery made a sensational recovery to land the Zuiderduin Masters title in Egmon aan Zee today. He went into the interval 4-0 down in sets but staged a tremendous fight back to clinch the title by 5 sets to 4. England’s Trina Gulliver also came from behind when
Franco Bertini has won the Italian Open mens singles title in Pieve di Cento. He beat fellow Italian Luca Catallo 5 – 2 in the final. The ladies title went to Laura Ariani when she defeated Giadi Ciofi 4 – 2. Last 8 Men Last 8 Women 1 FRANCO BERTINI
England’s Scotty Mitchell took the Singles title at the CenterParcs Masters which was played in Lommel, Belgium today. Scotty had a 3-0 sets win over surprise package Vern Sheppard who plays his County darts for Middlesex. In the Semi-Finals Scotty took out Tony West (who had just beaten brother Steve)
England`s Roy Brown defeated Andy Keen, also from England, to win this years Malta Open. In the ladies event it was also an all english affair with Kerry Simmonds beating Lakeside qualifier Wendy Reinstadtler to take the title. Last 8 Men: 1. Roy Brown England 2. Andy Keen England 3.
